* GENERAL PROVISIONS
“Helsinki Committee of Armenia” non-governmental organization (hereinafter the Organization) is a not-for-profit organization, an organization that does not distribute among its members the profits earned (a non-commercial organization). It is a civic association wherein physical persons, viz. citizens of the Republic of Armenia, foreign nationals and Stateless persons, have come together through a procedure established by law and on the basis of the commonality of their interests for the purpose of satisfying their non-religious intellectual or other non-material needs, of defending their rights and interests and those of other persons, of securing material and non-material support to the society at large and to its various groups and of undertaking other activities beneficial for the public.
